Möbius explained how 3D audio can improve digital reading at ACM IMX 2023
The Möbius partners joined discussions on audio opportunities for digital and immersive reading
The Möbius project attended the ACM IMX 2023 event in Nantes (France) to present readers’ evaluation of and requirements for (3D)-audio as a tool to support immersion in digital reading practices in June 2023.
The partners Iris Jennes, Researcher at IMEC, and Elias Blanckaert, Junior Researcher at IMEC, joined the ACM International Conference on Interactive Media Experiences to discuss about how immersion in digital reading experiences using (3D-)audio can be improved.
Jennes and Blanckaert presented the user requirements that resulted from the first Möbius Pilot phase, and had a lively discussion on audio production, audio opportunities for digital reading, and immersion measuring.
